What is the VAT?

The Visual Arts Team creates and installs artwork in the church based on the themes of the current sermon series or holiday season. Our mission is to worship God with the diverse creative gifts and talents he has given us and create artwork that:
•    Contributes to an atmosphere of worship during church services
•    Magnifies the scriptures through visual means
•    Leads people to a deeper intimacy with God

What kind of commitment is required?

We do much of our planning via email and over the phone and then install artwork approximately once every 2 months. Installation takes a few hours and may be done over the course of 2 days. Tear down goes a bit more quickly. Team members choose whether they want to participate in a particular project.

Who can join?

We’re a group of artists, designers, people who like to make things, and people who work with our hands. You don’t have to be an artist. We welcome anyone with an interest in the visual arts and a willingness to help build, install, or gather supplies.

New team members are always welcome.
