					What is VAT? The Visual Arts Team creates and installs artwork in the church based on the themes of the current sermon series or holiday season. Our mission is to worship God with the diverse creative gifts He has given us and create artwork that: Contributes to an atmosphere of worship during church services Magnifies the Scriptures through visual means Leads people to a deeper intimacy with God

What kind of commitment is required?

We have two levels of commitment:

• Core Team Members: Commit to attend all sessions and actively participate on all projects on an on-going basis.
• Auxiliary Team Members: Commit to attend and actively participate on a project by project basis.

The time activity levels vary by project but on an average, we meet about 2x/month for 2-3 hours. There are usually independent work assignments and subcommittees that stem from those sessions. 

Who can join?

We’re a group of artists, designers, people who like to make things, and people who work with our hands. You don’t have to be an artist. We welcome anyone with an interest in the visual arts and a willingness to help build, install, or gather supplies.

New team members are always welcome.
