Worship Arts Worship Arts teams at first free provide an atmosphere of worship on Sunday mornings. These teams are full of artists, musicians, dancers, actors, techies, ushers, greeters, and support people using the gifts God has given to praise the Lord, and lead others to worship. Dance Abundance Abundance is a team of teens and adults who praise the Lord through dance and provide support and encouragement for dancers. We're looking for others (with or without a dance background) who enjoy expressing themselves through movement. Kathy Dixon, Team Leader Artist's Group Bible Study We're starting a new bible study that will meet on Monday's starting February 25th at 7 p.m.. This bible study welcomes artists in all disciplines (visual arts, performance, writing, music, dance, etc.) and appreciators of the arts who attend First Free. We'll meet weekly on Monday nights, with three weeks of bible study and one week that we call "work in progress." Work in progress is a time where we'll share pieces we're currently working on, to get feedback, ideas or just to share with others. Drama Parable Presents the theme of each Sunday service through a variety of dramatic performances. Meets weekly for small group, actor training and rehearsal. Wenda Shereos, Team Leader Theater Red Ink Productions Each spring Red Ink produces a full length show in the sanctuary at First Free. The cast and crew are made up of First Free attendees and members. Visual and Performance Art Show Semeiotic Semeiotic is a our once-a-year art gallery. The Andersonville area has an arts weekend in October and we participate as one of the locations. Dana Chen, Planning Committee Leader			Stage Help Stagehands Stagehands work behind the scenes to keep the service flowing. They move props and furniture, control the lighting and the screen, and more. Stagehands serve once or twice a month on Sunday mornings. Sound and Image Tech Technical Team The technical team provides quality sound and image projection for worship services. Tech team members serve once a month and training is provided. Tim Canfield, Team Leader Art Visual Arts Team This team creates artwork in the sanctuary that reflects the sermon series or holiday season. We're a diverse group of artists, designers, people who like to make things and work with our hands. Aurora Tallacksen, Team Leader Greeters, Hosts, Ushers, and Welcoming Welcoming Team Greeters, ushers, hosts, and welcome center staff greet folks on Sunday morning and offer other assistance throughout church services. Mike Evans, Team Leader Music Worship Band The worship team includes all the vocalists and instrumentalists in the Sunday morning service. Our purpose is to glorify God with the musical gifts He has given us. The team leads the congregation in worship and speaks to the hearts of the congregation through the language of music.
