Crosstraining (Boys 6th-8th grade) (Cultivate/Nurture)

For boys who desire to workout their spiritual muscles and learn what it means to be a Christian and really live like one in the urban jungle. We hope to build a strong sense of community amidst our boys through small groups, active learning games, prayer journals, life-changing relationships and life-challenging Bible studies. Some nights will include the boys meeting in small groups in leaders’ homes and/or taking special trips throughout the city. . Our Fall theme is “Tearing Down the Walls—-Only God is Big Enough” students will be empowered to overcome the walls that keep them from others, from God and from themselves.

CrossRoads (Girls 6th-8th grade) (Cultivate/Nurture)
For girls who desire to grow closer to God and closer to each other in Christian community. We hope to empower our girls to live for Christ in all areas of their lives through deepening friendships, times of prayer and Bible study, small groups, active learning and times of worship together. This program meets the same night the boys, but is separate from the boy’s group. Some nights will include meetings in homes of leaders and/or special trips throughout the city. TGIF Afterschool Program (Ages 9-13 Outreach) (Cultivate)
Every Friday students ages 4th grade—8th grade are provided a positive group of adults who will spend time playing sports/games and building genuine friendships with one another. This program sometimes meets on the playground of Trumbull Elementary School and at other times meets here in the Church gymnasium and will include a short Bible study that relates to where students are in their spiritual journeys.

K2S (Keys 2 Salvation) Jr.High Sunday Morning Bible Study (Nurture/Equip)
Guys and girls meet separately for their own classes (ages 6th-8th grade). We will be challenging our students to dive into God’s Word and go deeper in understanding it and applying it to their lives. This Fall we are taking our students through Galatians and Philippians and enabling them to study the Word of God for themselves as they experience the freedom and joy of the Christian life.
9am Sunday Mornings Both classes begin in the Gym and then go separately to Streetlevel Youth Lounge and the Tower Room above the South Balcony.
