Student Ministry Moments
Praise the Lord that we are having some of our boys who went on the Sports Retreat attend our Bible study House group on the weekday evenings. Recently we have been looking at the Gospel of John and many of our boys are really seeking to understand who Christ is and how the Bible relates to their life.

Van Issues
Our students are very grateful for the two vans we have---both vans are being used quite regularly to reach out to Trumbull students, to take students to the Solheim center regularly, for house groups, to bring Moody students here on Sunday and much more. Unfortunately, they are both wearing down (one is a ’94 with over 130,000 miles). We are hoping that if we need to take a van to Utah this summer for the EFCA challenge conference that one of them will make it thought we are not sure. Please join us in praying for the possibility of a new van.

Junior High Girls Group
We have a group of Jr.High girls (some students who attend our church and some of their friends) who would love to have a girls house group (aka Take 5)----this could be just 2-3 times per month and would complement our Friday night outreaches to older teens. If you might be interested in being involved in shepherding these girls –we are looking for two adult females who have a passion for young people, please contact Tony West at ext.106.

Our Friends in the Dominican Republic are hurting!!
El Centro Materno? - Enerio and his family run a school that educates and feeds 150 children each day in San Pedro—our student missions team has been there a couple of times---they are currently having a financial crisis and need help feeding the children---please contact the church office if you might be interested in helping financially with this severe need—the poverty there is great—but the ministry that the Lord is doing there through Enerio and his family is greater!!

Gifts in Hospitality?
We are very grateful for those of you who open up your home to our students. We are looking for someone to be able to host our Jr.High girls group once or twice a month on a Friday evening. Please let us know if you are interested and might have a passion for being a host. Contact Tony West at twest@firstfree.com.

Here are the current needs we have for volunteers...

1. We need some males to take up the challenge of joining our Crosstraining team and (with a partner) help lead an evangelistic small group of Jr.High boys on Thursday nights
2. We need some adult female and male volunteers to join our Sunday morning youth discipleship team as you help students together dive into God’s Word
3. We are praying for some adults to join the Maze Team this year to help out at least 2-4 times helping to either construct the Maze or help with logistics of the Maze outreach.
4. We need a female and male volunteer to help with our Friday Night X-Alt program for Sr.Highers
