In Depth Book Study: Hebrews
Led by Ben Marx, Senior B.A. Student with Moody Bible Institute's Bible Department
The book of Hebrews is one the most important and yet most frequently neglected texts in the Bible. Although the book is found in the New Testament, it contains numerous, rich allusions to and quotations from the Old. Furthermore, the author of Hebrews highlights and explains the superiority of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, beyond other prophets, angels, Moses, and Aaron with greater depth and clarity than that found in perhaps any other New Testament text. For these and many other reasons, the book of Hebrews is of immense importance to today’s followers of Jesus. By studying this letter together, we will better understand the gospel in its context as well as its practical outworking in our lives.
