What is the Plan?

We are now moving ahead with our building plans and desire to create a facility that aligns with our vision and honors God. Phase 1 of the project would remove the existing two buildings south of the sanctuary and construct in their place a three-story multi-purpose addition called the Family Life Center . Some of its benefits include:

1.  Accessibility to the sanctuary and other ministry areas for the physically challenged ( ADA compliant)

2.  Safe and clean nursery and children's areas that may someday serve as a weekday pre-school for outreach into our community

3.  New, all-person accessible restrooms centrally located to the sanctuary and the new areas

4.  An inviting and welcoming common entry from street level, allowing access to the sanctuary and the Family Life Center – attracting those seeking a relationship with Christ and those looking for a church home

5.  Versatile spaces for use by teen and arts outreaches; meeting places for community events; classrooms for training the emerging leaders and youth in our congregation.

6.  A light and bright common gathering area that allows for easy traffic flow between buildings

7.  Multi-purpose rooms where adult education can be provided simultaneously with our weekend worship services

8.  Safe places for people to come for solitude or small group interaction and prayer during the week.

9.  A logical first step towards completing future Master Plan expansion (potential underground parking, community gymnasium, expanded multi-use spaces)
