Take It Home Events
A Take it Home Event is a parent-child interactive workshop where families come together to learn a new faith skill that they can continue developing in the home. For each age level, we have determined an age appropriate faith skill that can be practiced at home as a family and created a for parents to teach them that skill. Instead of scheduling those workshops for an additional time those families would need to come to church, we build them into our Sunday morning programs. Then at least one Sunday a year, we ask parents to attend Kids Church with their children. On that day, the parents learn a new faith skill they can immediately implement in heir home.
